From Idaho to Yellowstone

Before leaving Idaho, we happened upon the world's largest potato in Driggs. The drive-in theater was not open, however...

Welcome to Wyoming! Taking 33W into Wyoming was a thrilling ride, though I'm sure my car would disagree. The only way it could handle the 10% grade was to take it in 2nd gear!

The tough climb up the mountain was worth it for this view! And no vacation would be complete without the "I'm falling in!" shot!

The Grand Tetons!

Even in the middle of August, the Grand Tetons have snow-capped peaks.

Continuing north we entered into Yellowstone.

One of the first waterfalls we encountered was Lewis Falls.

They say teaching kids keeps you young... well one of the things I've picked up from my students is the act of "planking." Tony demonstrates below.

The Kepler Cascades.

Old Faithful!

More Yellowstone pictures to come over the next few days! We're spending the next three nights in West Yellowstone, MT. No packing and unpacking the car every day. Woo hoo!
